Contributions grow monthly at the assumed return until age 60. At exit, PFRDA rules require part of the corpus to buy an annuity (a pension plan from an insurer); the rest can be withdrawn. The monthly pension is the annuity amount × the annuity rate ÷ 12.
Exit and annuity rules have changed in recent years, so check the current PFRDA rules and annuity rates before relying on these figures.
